艺人网(Yiren.tv)讯 美国当地时间2018年10月22日至10月28日，第四届戴维斯国际电影节在加州北部城市戴维斯及所在地区的郡府伍德兰(Woodland County Fair Fashion Mall)成功举办。
本届电影节包括入围影片展映、红毯颁奖及晚宴、电影节论坛(加州大学戴维斯分校会议中心)三大部分。电影节致力于发现、培养青年电影人及促进国际电影的交流与发展，丰富当地文化生活，也成为了中美文化艺术交流的平台。
出席本届电影节红毯及颁奖嘉宾有法国驻萨克门托领事Guy Micheller，比利时驻旧金山领事Nathalie DelrueMcGuire，加州信息厅首席行政官Amy Tong， 著名电影制片人David C.Traub，好莱坞知名演员Paul McCarthy-Boyington，APAPA创始人及麦当劳大王尹集成等。
本届电影节在全世界范围内征片，通过筛选评选出30多部入围作品。来自美国的故事片《Ultra Low》获得最佳剧情长片;法国的《The Noise of the Light》获得最佳摄影;来自比利时的《Closing the Loop》获得最佳纪录长片;东方卫视选送的《人间世》获得最佳华语纪录片，来自美国的《Orange Sky Grace》获得最佳编剧奖。
《狮父》女演员王馨雨获得华语新秀女演员奖，《摇滚小子》导演段玉宝获得华语最佳新秀导演奖，中国首部音乐旅游电影《爱上夏天》王笛获得最佳女演员奖。
戴维斯国际电影节由戴维斯文化交流基金会举办、美国加州戴维斯分校国际中心，美国加州大学戴维斯分校交通能源研究所中国中心与美国加州大学戴维斯分校CGPSA联合举办。最后希望电影节可以发现越来越多优秀电影人，让世界看到不同的电影文化;电影节一直致力于世界电影文化交流，为世界和平发展一直前行在路上。
